"I was really disappointed to see Red Fang at Ryman this past weekend. It just wasn't the quality of music I'm used to hearing from him. All 3 other times I have seen him were outstanding. He didn't really play a lot of old songs...the only one really was Mountain Time. I personally also wanted to hear Slow Gin. Maybe it's because it was only his 2nd show, but he seemed to be struggling from the beginning to get to that next level where he usually performs. One of the best highlights was him & the piano player going back-and-forth, copying each other!! That was fun to watch. I think people want to hear more of the older music. He's a huge talent and top class, not to be criticized but, to me, this was not his best."
